This month marked the launch of the Wilson ECO III and the delivery of the Wilson ECO II, belonging to the series of six general cargo vessels of 3,800 dwt for Wilson ASA Norway, built by Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL).
The vessels are based on Conoship's CIP standard designs, complementing them with future-proof features and modularity. With the CIP 3800 dwt standard designs enabling longevity and flexibility, they are adaptable to any necessary regulations or modifications for future waters.
Among their many characteristics, these general cargo vessels are ready for wind-assisted propulsion, welcoming the possibility of sailing forward with ease. With optimised hulls and D&A Electric’s e-prop system, the series offers an additional boost in efficiency and smooth sailing.
Wilson ASA’s program does not end here, as they are soon to welcome eight 6,300 dwt vessels based on Conoship's CIP standard designs as well, continuing in the direction of green shipping, one sustainable vessel at a time.
